I had just gotten out of an unhealthy relationship and decided that I was going to focus on myself for awhile and work on bettering myself and truly loving myself because when we strive to become better, everything around us becomes better too. On July 6, 2012 I met my husband. His friend invited my friend and I boating that day, little did I know I would meet the love of my life. When I saw Bryston I got butterflies in my stomach and thought he was so attractive and the more I got to know him the more I loved his personality. We hit it off over the next few days and he asked me to be his girlfriend. In December we bought our puppy Paris. (She is now 6 Years old)

We continued to date and he decided to serve an Lds Mission. Bry opened his call the night of his Brighton High School Graduation, he was called to serve in the Singapore and Malaysia Mission, speaking Malay. I am a year and a half older than Bryston and graduated from Alta High School in 2011. We sent letters back and forth every week and got to Skype on Christmas and Mother’s Day. Bry served for 10 months before returning home early. When he got home things were difficult and we only got to see each other twice a week for awhile. We were still so in love and our relationship continued to grow stronger. We knew we wanted to be married and we worked towards being married in the Temple.

We dated for 5 years! On November 20, 2016 Bryston FINALLY proposed! My best friend Brooke texted me the night before asking if we wanted to do a photo shoot in Big Cottonwood Canyon, she takes the most amazing pictures so of course I said we would love too! I got ready and we headed up the canyon. We were standing by the lookout with the most stunning view where you could see all of Silver Lake. Bryston was holding my hand and I started to walk to take pictures in a different spot, he pulled me back towards him and told me he loved me, I told him that I loved him too and smiled. Then he started talking about how much he loved me and everything he loved about me and got down on one knee. I was so shocked, I knew it was coming soon but I had no idea it was today. I started bawling and as he asked me to marry him, (Obviously I said yes) it started snowing! Just when I thought it couldn’t be more perfect, we were walking down the trail and all of my family and his family was there. He had planned an engagement party/dinner at his family's cabin with our family and close friends. You guys, he is literally perfect.

Bryston and I were married in the Salt Lake Temple on May 5, 2017. It was perfect! The weather was amazing, we had hot dog on a stick cater lol (Bry’s Request). We took photos in our photo bus, and got to celebrate with all of the people we love. Who could ask for anything more. Then we headed off to Europe for our honeymoon! Bryston is my best friend and the best Husband I could have ever dreamed of, we have been through so much together and I wouldn’t want to experience life with anyone else by my side. XOXO
